Definition
ਪਰਿਭਾਸ਼ਾ
Gurbani’s traders are constantly focused (ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਧਿਆਨ) on trading (ਵਾਪਾਰ) spiritual wisdom (ਆਤਮਿਕ ਗਿਆਨ) within themselves (ਜੋਤਿ ਨਾਲ) and with others (ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ) who are willing learn wisdom from Gurbani (ਜੋ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ).
Unlike the worldly traders (ਦੁਨਿਆਵੀ ਵਾਪਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਉਲਟ), their profit is not monetary (ਪੈਸੇ ਦਾ ਮੁਨਾਫ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ) but Naam Dhan (ਨਾਮ ਧੰਨ ) i.e. adoption of virtues as per Gurbani (ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾਉਣਾ). Parmeshar has endless stock of Naam Dhan (ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਕੋਲ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹੈ) which means the more they trade, more they gain (ਉਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਦੇ ਤੋਟਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ).

Worldly trader (ਦੁਨਿਆਵੀ ਵਾਪਾਰੀ) understands customer needs (ਗਾਹਕ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ) and provides them services (ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ) or goods (ਵਸਤੂਆਂ) in return of profit (ਮੁਨਾਫ਼ਾ ਕਮਾਉਣ ਲਈ)
Gurbani’s trader (ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਦਾ ਵਾਪਾਰੀ) understands that spiritual virtues (ਅਧਿਆਤਮਕ ਗੁਣ) are the real wealth (ਅਸਲੀ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ), has attitude to learn (ਸਿੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਸੁਭਾਅ ) from Gurbani (ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ) . They help society (ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ) by being a role model on how to live ideal human life (ਆਦਰਸ਼ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀ ਕੇ) and spread positivity and motivation in the society (ਸਮਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਵਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਦੇ ਨੇ)

ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਕਮੀਆਂ-ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰੀਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਿਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ
We should adopt the attitude of constantly reflecting on our shortcomings and keep learning from Gurbani
