Passionate to seek a special (ਖਾਸ ਤਰਾਹ ਦੀ) raindrop (ਮੀਂਹ ਦੀ ਬੂੰਦ) that helps to quench (ਬੁਝਾਉਣਾ) thirst (ਪਿਆਸ). Symbol of individuals who seek spiritual (ਆਤਮਿਕ) wisdom (ਗਿਆਨ) to achieve the purpose of this life (ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਮਨੋਰਥ ).
ਜਿਉ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕ ਬੂੰਦ ਕੀ ਪਿਆਸ ॥ ਜਿਉ ਕੁਰੰਕ ਨਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਸਮਾਨੇ ॥ ਤਿਉ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਮਨਹਿ ਸੁਖਾਨੇ ॥੬॥ (ਰਾਗ ਰਾਮਕਲੀ – ਮ:੫ – ੯੧੪ )
As Pied Cuckoo has the passion or thirst for the raindrop and deer is always tuned to the sound of the bell. Similarly, the message of inner voice / teachings of Gurbani bring peace to the mind of wise people.
ਸਾਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ
We should be honest and genuine in everything we do in life
ਮਨ ਜੋ ਸੱਚੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ
mind that genuinely seeks knowledge
