The one who understands that enjoyments and pleasures (ਭੋਗ ਵਿਲਾਸ )of material world (ਭੌਤਿਕ ਜਗਤ)are tasteless or don’t give me any benefit.

ਜਿਤਨੇ ਰਸ ਅਨ ਰਸ ਹਮ ਦੇਖੇ ਸਭ ਤਿਤਨੇ ਫੀਕ ਫੀਕਾਨੇ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸੁ ਚਾਖਿਆ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮੀਠ ਰਸ ਗਾਨੇ ॥੨॥ (ਰਾਗ ਗਉੜੀ – ਮ:੪ – ੧੬੯ )
As Pied Cuckoo has the passion or thirst for the raindrop and deer is always tuned to the sound of the bell. Similarly, the message of inner voice / teachings of Gurbani bring peace to the mind of wise people.
ਸਾਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ
We should be honest and genuine in everything we do in life
ਮਨ ਜੋ ਸੱਚੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ
Mind that genuinely seeks knowledge
