Definition
ਪਰਿਭਾਸ਼ਾ
Plants the crops (ਫਸਲਾਂ ਬੀਜਦਾ ਹੈ) and nurtures (ਪਾਲਣ ਪੋਸ਼ਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ) them to make sure they grow properly (ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਹੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਵਧਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ)
At times (ਕਦੇ ਕਦੇ), may go lazy (ਸੁਸਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ) and expect far more (ਜਿਆਦਾ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ) or different outcomes (ਵੱਖਰੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ) in comparison (ਤੁਲਨਾ ਵਿਚ) to effort and inputs given to crops (ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਤੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਮੇਹਨਤ)

Knowledge of local seasons (ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੌਸਮ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਨ), crops (ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ) and manage pests (ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੀੜੇ) to grow healthy (ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ) and disease-free (ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਮੁਕਤ) crops (ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ), fruits (ਫਲ) and vegetables (ਸਬਜ਼ੀਆਂ)
Provide food (ਭੋਜਨ), which is basic necessity (ਮੁਢਲੀ ਲੋੜ) for human life (ਇਨਸਾਨੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਲਈ)

Says Fareed Jee, Unwise farmer seeks grapes (symbol of high value fruit) from the seeds of acacia which is a shrub (symbol of low quality and effort seed). In this pankti farmer is also a symbol of mind that is lazy but expects best outcomes from it’s actions in life.
